The remuneration in print media is very different, even if there are now remuneration rules for daily newspapers that can be viewed as a minimum wage.

However, building a website takes a certain amount of time. It can take a few years until you have enough visitors to make it financially worthwhile. But then you can benefit permanently from your texts.

If you sell your texts, on the other hand, you get money for it immediately, but in the long run, you won't get any more of it. If you stop writing, you don't make any more money.

The decision is certainly not an easy one, but some journalists try both. But for that you need perseverance and with your site, you have to worry about more than just writing.
