On YouTube, 60 hours of video are uploaded every minute and 4 billion videos are viewed every day.
It is therefore not surprising that videos now also play an important role in making money on the Internet.
In this article, I would like to introduce you to the possibilities of making money with videos.

The growth of video usage on the internet continues.
According to the Bitkom industry association, both the number of videos and the duration of video consumption has increased in Germany.
And with millions of users, of course, there is also revenue potential.
Sometimes by chance, as in the video of a boy after the dentist's visit, which is certainly known to many. The video his father recorded became so popular that Google paid out more than $ 100,000 in advertising revenue to the family.
Many others now consciously use videos to generate a lot of traffic through funny, helpful, or shocking videos and then monetize this in one way or another.
Monetize Your Videos
On the one hand, you can of course earn money with your videos.
That can be done directly and indirectly.
Services such as videofy.me not only make it possible to upload and edit videos there free of charge but also to automatically add advertising (according to TKP billing).
The video uploader then receives a certain part of the income. Among other things, this service offers a widget for your blog.
Other providers, automatically add advertising to videos on their pages. However, the experience reports are rather mixed. It doesn't seem to be the yellow of the egg.
Of course, you can also earn money indirectly with your videos, for example by presenting your products or services, showing references, or promoting current campaigns.
Videos are particularly popular in online shops and increase sales of the corresponding products.
Videos also work very well in a test blog, for example, if you introduce certain products and include the affiliate link in the corresponding article.
Use Youtube
The main point of contact for videos, however, is Youtube.
There you can upload your videos for free, integrate them into your blog or website using code and even earn money with your videos.
To do this, you have to be activated in the YouTube partner program, which is now possible for everyone.
To do this, however, you need an AdSense account, which is used to monetize your videos.
Once that is done, you can activate the advertising for one or more of your videos on your YouTube channel and off you go.
Affiliate Links in Videos
Another option is to include affiliate links directly in the YouTube video.
Google itself offers the option to incorporate comments into videos. These comments can be placed anywhere and may also contain links.
There are always discussions about whether this is allowed by Google, but very many have been doing it for a long time.
You should just make sure that the videos are high quality and add value. Then Google doesn't seem to have anything against affiliate links.
Incidentally, you can also include affiliate links in the video descriptions. You should just generally make sure that you ask them beforehand.
An alternative is services like Linkedtube.com.
This allows you to add a link to a YouTube video and then get a somewhat extended code that you can then incorporate on your pages.
So this does not work on YouTube itself, but only where you can then integrate the code yourself.
Make Money From Other People's Videos
Instead of bothering to create videos yourself, you can of course also use other videos.
So you could set up your video page and include good and interesting videos, e.g. from YouTube, on certain topics.
With good marketing and regular content, this brings a lot of visitors who can then be monetized with AdSense, affiliate marketing, or advertising, for example.
In this case, the videos are used to generate traffic.
Another example is services like goviral.
These offer a variety of videos (mostly creative advertising from companies, cinema trailers, etc.), which you can then integrate into your pages.
And the remuneration is then based on the number of video views.
Legal Dangers With Videos
However, videos also harbor certain legal dangers.
In the case of videos that you have created yourself, you should, among other things, ensure that you do not include any music with third-party copyrights or photos, logos, etc. from third parties. You should also observe personal rights, i.e. do not show strangers clearly.
If you only fill your videos with your own “material”, you are relatively safe.
Apart from that, before activating advertising for a video, Youtube checks whether foreign music, TV clips, etc. are included. If so, this video cannot be monetized.
The use of third-party videos, for example on one's blog, is even more problematic. You are more likely to violate copyrights here. You would have to ask permission from every creator of a video. And even then, it is not certain that this has not also violated copyrights.
And as it is currently showing, even the mere linking to a video can be expensive.
When using videos, you should be very careful not to violate any rights.
Conclusion
It is entirely possible to make good money from videos. Youtube in particular has recently started offering a tempting alternative, which I will shortly be introducing again in more detail.
Whether the effort for video creation and editing is worth it is certainly quite different.
In English-speaking countries, they earn very good money.
