How Can I Make This Claim, and How Do I Know This?

When I was 21, (at least 25+ years ago) I was a Bookmaker here in the UK. I went from working for one of Britain’s biggest Bookmaking chains to running my own Bookmaking business. When working for this big high street bookie,

I worked in the credit office andwas responsible for odds compiling and also dealing with their high ticket clients.

My most interesting discovery was that 99% of people who bet on horses LOSE.. DUH!. It wasn’t rocket science to learn this but interestingly, BACKGROUND had nothing to do with how often people won or lost, Intelligence played a very small part in this process,.

The THRILL of it all, was sufficient to CLOUD the judgement of people, no matter whether they earned $100 a week or $10,000 a week.

SO.. you are probably thinking, what has this got to do with ME and why am I still listening to you RAMBLING on, OK.. you asked for it!

In my view, GAMBLERS & a lot of INTERNET MARKETERS have a very similar OUTLOOK..

Gamblers… 99% lose overall, most have NO plan at all to stay in front, or even care.

Internet Marketers… 97% (supposedly) Vanish, from the Internet never to be seen again.

OK, let’s flip that coin (sorry about the pun). 1% of Gamblers WIN overall. 3% of Internet Marketers make it PAY to some degree. My guess is 1% make more than a good living.

So how can we go from a struggling Internet Marketer to an online SUPERSTAR!?!

OK, let’s go back to GAMBLERS again (Must We?).. YES..of course.

1. Most have no plan

2. Most chase losses

3. The information on how to lose less and get ahead is out there, but mainly ignored by the masses

4. Intelligence (academic) has no bearing, when gambling comes in to play, anyone can be stupid..even clever people..

5. Some gamblers control their losses, do it for fun and act sensibly though.

It was my experience that some “clever” gamblers make MILLIONS of dollars a year & profit long term.

Bookmakers, however are the guys TAKING the bets.. they have a plan, and that PLAN is to WIN most of the time!

OK, let’s look at Internet Marketers or anyone trying to MAKE IT online..

1. Most have no real plan

2. A lot “BUY” into the dream, chasing “shiny objects” + seek “instant” gratification

3. The information on how to do this business properly is out there, sometimes available free, but often ignored

4. Intelligence (academic) has no bearing on the outcome. Anyone can learn the right way to become a success online.

5. Some Internet Marketers have a plan, control their spending and make some money.

It is my experience that several ”clever Internet Marketers make Millions of dollars a year..
