The Science Of Getting RICH in Internet Marketing

Of course, who wouldn’t – sounds great doesn’t it? No more commuting, no more riding that crowded bus or train in the morning, total freedom – right?

Well, according to the online guru’s, it’s all very simple all we need to do is purchase their latest super product, give it a quick read, sit down in front of the computer and away we go, we’re off and running – RIGHT?

WRONG? If it were that easy, everyone would be doing it and our offices, towns & bus stations would be empty at 9am, RIGHT? The reason why we can still ride the bus in the morning, get our coffee from the coffee shop or hand our cars to the Valet Parkers is because of two main reasons:

• Reason 1 – Not everyone in the world wants to be their own boss
  
  
• Reason 2 – It’s not easy, especially starting out – it’s a jungle out there and not everyone is a BIG cat or elephant – some of us are just pussycats, MEEEOWW!

So, what about the Science, you know – the Science of getting Rich, right? – Oh THAT… like in the title of this post? – YES!

The Science!

The late great King of Copywriting – Gary Halbert, once said “Find a STARVING crowd”; – this is one of the BIGGEST secrets to getting RICH in Internet Marketing, find something that people are STARVING for, then FEED it to them – pure & simple…

Yes, you might like painting Dogs toenails, and perhaps you are an expert in it – but could you get enough customers to buy your latest edition of “Toenail Painting for Dogs” – maybe NOT! do you see where I’m going here. Find a NEED then FILL it – it’s not ROCKET Science.

So, let’s say – I’m brand new to Internet Marketing, how do I start?

Well first you would need to study; model those persons who are actually doing it – right? It makes sense, if you have a friend in the typing pool at work who tells you they are making a fortune on the quiet in Internet Marketing, and they still continue to draw their pay check month after month, they are either LYING or they just love their job way more than the MONEY! – and some people do! NOTHING Wrong with that – Right?

This is great, but in order for us to pursue our lifetime ambition, and to be a BIG successful Internet Marketer like the Frank Kern, Chris Farrell & Ewen Chia – we need to model successful people who are actually doing what WE want to do.

Successful people are not hard to find, their are plenty of report sites on the internet telling you who are trustworthy and who are NOT.

Here is point two, decide what you can become passionate about – but be practical, remember you are looking to “Feed a STARVING crowd” – if you love model railways, this might give you lots of FUN, but will it bring you lots of CASH on the Internet?

Start out with a passion, and be passionate about what you do – you will do it a whole lot better if you love what you do.

Start part time. It doesn’t make sense to give up your day job immediately, what are you going to LIVE on?

Certainly not the incoming crumbs of your early part time online Business efforts – when I first started my Internet Marketing Business, and I am only a beginner really, I’ve only been doing it a few months, but I did have another Internet business previously.

I was living off my quickly diminishing savings, when I first started – Any early income you make from your Affiliate sales, is bound to be pretty meagre at first (even if you can persuade Clickbank to send it to you) Clickbank wants to see at least 5 different credit cards being used for your sales, initially before they will even send you your first cheque – this can take month’s if all your first few clients decide to pay by Paypal.

Believe me, you have a much longer survival rate, both mentally & financially if you can still fill up that declining CASH POT in your Bank account each month.

You say you don’t have any spare time? REALLY? – you don’t watch TV, you don’t go out to bars & nightclubs?, and you just work all the time?

Boy you really do NEED to work for yourself then – because if this is YOU and you have NO time at all your JOB (Just Over Broke) must be taking over your life…

Remember, it’s just a job – YOU are NOT your job, you are YOU – we all have a limited time on this earth, so do you really want to spend the majority of your precious time making someone elses dream come true. Even if you love your boss.. they are still your BOSS!

Look, I’ll be straight with you, I hated working long hours for a boss, I think I would rather earn less initially working for myself (which you do) – than to be working for someone else.

So I started learning the whole Internet Marketing thing. Internet Marketing is an exciting journey, the start of that journey is a bit of a bumpy ride you’ll never learn it all, because things change every WEEK… but it’s an ongoing skill that you learn to EARN.. you learn it WELL and your earnings will EXCEL.

I have learnt a whole bunch of stuff from good Marketing people who were actually using it in THEIR everyday business and I became reasonably good at it. Now, if you can make money by being reasonably good at it, THINK of what you could do if you were GREAT at it.

You can become GREAT at it..

The Internet & Social Marketing, the new WEB 2.0 – this is where it’s all at right now, we are all positioned at the FOREFRONT of a whole new WEB 2.0 Marketing WAVE – and you too can make an absolute fortune working from home educating your STARVING crowd all about the many fabulous products out there. And their are, many many good products to sell by some very SAVVY marketers..

No product to start? sell other people’s products online, when I started, I just went ahead and signed up for a ClickBank account, and away I went, lateron you colud sell your own products, and make even more MONEY!

I hope this has given you an insight into starting out and making that decision to get started in Internet Marketing – STARTING anything new can be hard -its one of the things that a lot of people find HARDEST to do – the getting STARTED.

Once you make that decision to get started and you actually START, you will actually start to buid momentum and making those slightly awkward decisions will become a lot EASIER once you start to gradually move out of that comfort zone.

And the problem with the comfort zone is – SOME people are very COMFORTABLE in it, while perhaps also being quietly MISERABLE…

There NEVER really is a RIGHT time to start – LIFE always seems to get in the way… just – Start TODAY, It’s better to do SOMETHING now, no matter how small, at the WRONG time – than to do NOTHING at all, waiting for the RIGHT time .
